The Permanent Secretary for Education Doctor Anjeela Jokhan has said they are reviewing the situation on a daily basis and will make an appropriate announcement on the resumption of schools.
She had earlier confirmed that schools are closed until the weather situation improves.
Parts of Nadi, Rakiraki, Tavua and Ba are still flooded.
There is also widespread road closures in parts of the Northern and Western Divisions.
