Education Ministry reports individuals who allegedly sold education worksheets online

Education Ministry reports individuals who allegedly sold education worksheets online
Permanent Secretary for Education Anjeela Jokhan.

The Ministry of Education has reported individuals to the authorities after they had discovered that these people were allegedly selling worksheets for students on social media.

The Ministry is urging Fijians not to buy the supplementary educational worksheets that have been prepared by the Ministry for students during the extended school holiday, as they will be provided for free.

The Ministry warns that it is illegal to sell these worksheets and action will be taken against those found doing so.

They say the supplementary worksheets are not compulsory and have been prepared in the way of revision materials from Term 1.

Students will be taught the curriculum again once Fiji is safe from COVID-19 and classes resume.

The worksheets will be on Literacy and Numeracy for primary school students in Years 1 to 7 while for students in Years 8 to 13, there are subject-specific worksheets.

These worksheets can be accessed from the Ministry’s website www.education.gov.fj from tomorrow.
