The Education Ministry is looking at the best options to address the issue where students last weekend played in pathetic conditions during the Weet-Bix Raluve Competition at the Suva Grammar School grounds.

Permanent Secretary for Education, Selina Kuruleca says the safety and security of students remain their top priority.

Meanwhile, Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby Competition President, Jone Kanalagi says the weather was out of their control and there was no available ground in the Central Division at that time.

Kanalagi says there was nothing that could be done about it but to continue with the quarter finals as scheduled.

He says the Vodafone Super Deans Competition also faced the same issue at Buckhurst Park on Saturday.

The Vodafone Super Deans and the Weet-Bix Raluve Competition semi finals will be held at the HFC Bank Stadium tomorrow.
