Eric Murphy and Jasmin Lawrence, the son of Eddie Murphy and daughter Martin Lawrence, have announced their engagement after three years of dating.
The couple jointly shared a video via Instagram over the weekend documenting Eric Murphy's romantic proposal in front of a glowing, heart-shaped light and set to Eric Benét's "Spend My Life With You."
Jasmin Lawrence wrote in the caption, "We’re engaged!! God truly blessed us with a love that feels like destiny. We couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter... Special thank you to everyone who made this moment so beautiful!!"
The couple first announced their relationship in June 2021, when Jasmin took to her Instagram to wish Eric a happy birthday, writing, "Happy birthday, my love! I’m so incredibly blessed to know you, to love you, and to have you by my side.
They then started making public appearances together and posting more paeans to their love on social media.
