Fiji scored 4 tries in the match.
Their tries were scored by Reapi Ulunisau, Ana Maria Naimasi, Sesenieli Donu and Laisana Likuceva.
They will take on Canada at 8.56 tonight and play Russia at 3.05am tomorrow in their third pool match.
The Fijiana will meet Great Britain at 9.07pm tomorrow in their final pool match.
The women’s bronze final will be at 2.07am Sunday while the final will be at 2.57am Sunday.
