The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will be focusing on trying to cut out the blind offloading of the ball when they take on the Moana Pasifika this weekend.

When asked on this by fijivillage News on the increasing number of blind offloads against the NSW Waratahs, Coach Mick Byrne says sometimes they tend to offload the ball when they know that there is chaos around them and it has proven too costly for them.

He says even though offloading has been one of the strengths of their game, they need to work on the right time and when to use it.

Byrne says sometimes when they get possession, and before they could even take a ruck, they lose possession again to the opposition which is caused mostly by throwing blind passes and offloads.

He says they will work closely on that area this week knowing Moana Pasifika will have a lot of fire power out wide and they can easily capitalise on any loose ball.

The Fijian Drua will play Moana Pasifika in their Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific round 13 clash at 2.05pm Saturday in Lautoka.
