Fijian Drua Interim CEO, Brian Thorburn has revealed that they intend to assemble the team by the 15th of October before the side goes into quarantine in Australia.
Thorburn says they are aiming to start training in Australia by 1st November, where they will be based for their inaugural Super Rugby Pacific campaign.
Five players have already been confirmed for the Drua and more names will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Drua will be taking around 34 players to Australia.
Fiji Rugby Union General Manager High Performance, Simon Raiwalui says they currently have a chart of about 100 players which they are looking it.
Raiwalui adds some of these players have Super Rugby experience while a number of them have played in New Zealand and Australia.
He says a large number of players are also based in Fiji.
The Super Rugby Pacific will begin in February next year.
