Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Coach Mick Byrne believes the team will become better as the Super Rugby Pacific Competition progresses because the players now understand what it is like to compete in the Super Rugby.

In the match against the Waratahs, only Baden Kerr had previous Super Rugby experience with the Blues while the rest of the players made their debut in the competition.

Byrne says the Drua players were competitive and physical and they will be better as the competition progresses.

The Drua will meet the Brumbies in their second Super Rugby Pacific match at 3.35pm Saturday.

In other matches this week, the Highlanders will take on the Crusaders at 6.05pm Friday, the Waratahs will meet the Reds at 8.45pm Friday, the Blues will play the Hurricanes at 6.05pm Saturday, the Rebels will face the Western Force at 8.45pm Saturday, and the Chiefs will meet the Moana Pasifika at 2.35pm Sunday.
