A Police officer escaped unharmed as a vehicle crashed into the Narere Community Police Post last night.
Police say after 9 pm, the officer noticed a vehicle heading straight towards the Community Police Post and managed to run to safety as the vehicle crashed.
The officer then rushed to check on the driver and found him unresponsive.
Police say the 53-year-old driver was rushed to the Valelevu Health Centre for medical treatment.
Investigations continue.
