The Fiji National University Council has appointed Dr William May as the Acting Vice-Chancellor.
Dr May replaces Professor Toby Wilkinson who completed his term on 31st March 2022.
FNU Chancellor and Chair of Council Tessa Price says Dr May has great leadership experience and university knowledge which they believe is essential for the continued growth of the university.
Price says the Council is currently finalizing the Vice-Chancellor’s appointment and an announcement on this will be made in due course.
She says Dr May’s current term will be for six months.
Price thanked Professor Wilkinson for his outstanding leadership and commitment to enhancing learning and teaching at FNU.
