Former Ministry of Health Chief Medical Advisor, Doctor Jemesa Tudravu is the new Permanent Secretary for Health.
The announcement has been made by the Public Service Commission with the agreement of the Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka.
The PSC says as an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon and Health Administrator with over 30 years of working experience, both locally and abroad, Dr Tudravu brings a wealth of experience, and expertise to the Ministry, strengthening the leadership team of the Ministry.
They say his blend of skills and insights will play a pivotal role in advancing the Ministry’s mission and objectives.
PSC Chairman Luke Rokovada says Dr Tudravu’s exceptional leadership qualities and track record of success make him the ideal candidate to lead the Ministry of Health and Medical Services.
He says they are confident that under his guidance, the Ministry will thrive and achieve new heights in improving health care services delivery.
