Wallabies’ substitute flyhalf Ben Donaldson broke the hearts of the Argentinians on their home soil after slotting in a last-minute penalty to give his side a 20-19 win in round 3 of the Rugby Championship today.
Argentina were looking forward to having a perfect send-off for their former captain Agustin Creevy who announced earlier this week that he was playing his last international test match today.
Unfortunately, the visitors spoilt the party and claimed the much-needed win after two opening losses to the Springboks last month.
Argentina led 13-7 at halftime.
The two teams will meet again next Sunday at 7am in Argentina.
Meanwhile, the All Blacks suffered a 31-27 loss to the Springboks in Johannesburg this morning.
The All Blacks will take on the Springboks again at 3am next Sunday.
