Fiji Water Flying Fijians coach Mick Byrne says their defence showed they are working really hard after beating Georgia 21-12 this morning.

Byrne stated this at the post-match press conference saying that even though they missed a couple of opportunities, he’s still very happy with the effort the boys put in.

He says they knew what Georgia was going to bring and they were very physical at the breakdown.

The head coach says Georgia challenged them around those areas and full credit to them, but the boys were able to hold them back.

He says he is extremely impressed with how the Flying Fijians worked hard this morning.

Flying Fijians Assistant Coaches Seremaia Bai, Aaron Mauger and Graham Dewes, were all on hand to help out in any way they could.

Prop Peni Ravai played his 50th Test while Peniasi Dakuwaqa, Elia Canakaivata, Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula, Inia Tabuavou and Kitione Salawa made their debut.

Fiji next play the All Blacks on July 20th in San Diego at Snap Dragon Stadium at 2.30pm.
