DPM Gavoka pays tribute to iconic VITIFM personality Maikeli Radua

As we remember the late, iconic Maikeli Radua of VITIFM, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism, Viliame Gavoka says listening to VITIFM always lifted their spirits and helped them prepare for the day.

Gavoka says from Monday to Friday between 8am and 8.30am, he would either tune in to Hope FM or VITIFM while navigating through traffic on his way to work in Suva.

He refers to this time as the peak traffic hours.

The Deputy Prime Minister also highlighted that VITIFM was the obvious choice for a dose of laughter before the day began.

Gavoka says all of this was led by one of our most prominent and joyous radio personalities, the late Radua.

He adds that although Radua may have been sitting in an enclosed space, his voice, stories and good cheer travelled across Fiji and around the world.

Gavoka also extends his heartfelt sympathies to the Radua family, the Vanua o Nakelo, the CFL family, and their extended families.

The church service for Radua will take place at 10 this morning in Waikete Village, Tailevu.
