The Cricket Fiji team has presented their itatau to President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere at Government House and is focusing on the task ahead of them in the upcoming International Cricket Council Men’s T20 World Cup Sub-Regional Qualifier.
While accepting the itatau, President Katonivere congratulated the players on their selection to the Fiji team and wished them well in their participation at the Sub-Regional Qualifier later this month.
The President also urged the team to work towards their goals and be good ambassadors for the country while participating in the 8-day championship.
Fiji will be playing with Samoa, Vanuatu and Cook Island from this Saturday to next Saturday.
They will also be leaving our shores on Thursday.
The Sub-Regional Qualifier will be held in Samoa.
