The opening of the College of Business, Hospitality and Tourism studies building at the Fiji National University campus in Nasinu will now provide better services and ICT facilities to students.

This was highlighted by FNU Vice Chancellor, Professor Lyn Karstadt who says that the building gives a proper working environment and will be open to all the students and available for functions.

She says students need to develop spiritually, morally, personally and intellectually therefore they want them to thrive and learn with better experiences.

Karstadt says buildings like this help them to pass such missions through their programs and facilities that are provided.

Meanwhile, Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says we need to build sustainability in anything we develop, particularly in education to acquire knowledge and skills.

He says the foundation of education is critically important therefore the government provides students with free education, loan schemes and National Toppers Schemes to ensure that students get educated.
