Civil servants in the Western division have been doing cleanup campaigns.
Officers from all government agencies have been out and about for the past weeks, cleaning areas, destroying breeding places for mosquitoes and beautifying places around the Western division.
This is in line with Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama's announcement on a nationwide door to door campaign to combat the potential outbreak of Leptospirosis, Typhoid, Dengue and Diarrhoea.
Commissioner Western Mesake Ledua stressed the importance of their work in fighting the disease and also acknowledged the civil servants for their continuous commitment.
