Children from different households spotted playing together at Reba Circle and also hugging parents who returned from work

Children from different households spotted playing together at Reba Circle and also hugging parents who returned from work

Police say they will continue to ensure every member of Reba Circle in Nadera takes things seriously as concerns have been raised after around 20 children were seen playing together near the Reba Circle Barracks and the police checkpoint.

Concerned people told us the children were from different households and were also running towards their parents and hugging them when they returned from work.

With children from different households mingling together and then hugging their parents who are returning from work increases the risk of the spread of COVID-19.

When questioned, Police say their officers had already created COVID-19 awareness in the area.

The Force has reiterated the importance of everyone to act responsibly and that Police will not be everywhere.
