England and Chelsea soccer player Callum Hudson-Odoi has tested positive for coronavirus and Chelsea's entire squad is self-isolating.

The English Premier League club said Hudson-Odoi, 19, had displayed symptoms similar to a mild cold and was kept away from the training ground this week as a precaution.

The Chelsea winger, who made the first of three England appearances last year, was tested for coronavirus and the result came back positive.

Hudson-Odoi's result follows Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta's positive test and leaves Premier League officials under more scrutiny to postpone the rest of this weekend's matches after Arsenal and Brighton's game was called off.

The Premier League previously said all of its matches would go ahead but, after hearing of Arteta's result, announced an emergency meeting with its clubs would be held tonight.
