The candidate nomination period for the 2022 general elections has closed.
348 people have been nominated as provisional candidates for the elections and 272 nominations have been approved.
Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem says FijiFirst, NFP, SODELPA and People’s Alliance filed the full 55 nominations.
The appeals and objections period will open tomorrow.
