A cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama is being held at Ro Lalabalavu House.
Permanent Secretary for Health Doctor James Fong, Acting Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu and RFMF Commander Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto are also part of the meeting with government ministers.
Doctor Fong is expected to make a statement later today.
