The Vice Chairman says they will re-double efforts to export more premium Fijian made products and services to the Chinese market and attract more high quality Chinese investments to Fiji.
Jianan adds trade and investment has always been an important factor in the bilateral relationship between Fiji and China.
According to Chinese statistics, in 2022, the bilateral import and export trade totaled US $549 million, a 21.6% increase on year to year basis.
With the ease of the restrictions of border control measures imposed against COVID-19, Fiji's business community is expected to continue participating in the Canton Fair and the China International Import Expo, which will help business people from China and Fiji to better explore the markets and specialty products of each other.
