The Water Authority of Fiji says their ground teams are working on fixing the burst 200mm rising main at Laqere Bridge.
This has caused surface flooding on the bridge resulting in a traffic jam from the bridge past Makoi.

There is huge traffic from Laqere Bridge right to Nakasi due to surface flooding caused by drainage blockages.
All vehicles are slowing down as they approach the area and this is causing the traffic build-up.
Please expect traffic if you are travelling from the Nausori to Suva.
We have notified the authorities.
