Peni Bulikiobo from Holy Cross College in Taveuni is taking home the gold medal after winning the 1,500 metres senior boys event today.
Abaramo Ratucove of Marist took the silver medal while Mesulame Tora of Nasesevia Secondary settled for bronze.
Rusila Tabuyawa of Naitasiri Secondary won the first gold medal for her school in the 1,500 metres senior girls.
Kuini Valebuliti of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial School settled for the silver medal while Mereisi Radinisuva of Dawasamu Secondary School took the bronze.
