The body of the 49-year-old man of Waikubukubu Village in Nadarivatu who crossed a river and failed to make it across to the other side has been recovered.
Police say his body was discovered by a 42-year-old man a few metres away from where he was last seen.
The incident was reported at the Vatukoula Police Station.
