The body of the 67-year-old farmer who was reported missing while trying to cross the Bagata River yesterday morning has been recovered.
Police say the man was trying to go to his farm house when he was swept away by strong currents.
The joint search was conducted by Police and members of the community.
A post mortem will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death as investigations continue.
