The Blues are doing their best not to let Auckland's recent COVID-19 lock-down hamper their performance on the field.

The side had to relocate to Cambridge to avoid Alert Level 3 restrictions.

Captain Patrick Tuipulotu says their job is to learn their plays and be the best rugby players and that does not change if they are in a lock-down as there is a lot of stuff they can do by themselves.

All Blacks wing Caleb Clarke says there are harder problems in the world than for them not to play rugby and he is confident no matter what happens on the field, they will not suffer.

The Crusaders will face the Chiefs at 6.05pm Saturday and the Blues will host the Highlanders at 2.35pm Sunday.
