National Federation Party Leader, Professor Biman Prasad says Voreqe Bainimarama and Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum are just talking about Sitiveni Rabuka and Biman Prasad and threatening people rather than addressing the issues faced by the people of this country
While speaking at the People's Alliance and NFP joint rally in Labasa, Prasad says Bainimarama and Sayed-Khaiyum know that the FijiFirst Party will not win the elections and they are desperate.
He says this is why they are not talking about the failed sugar industry, cost of living, deteriorating health services in Fiji and why they didn't provide adequate help for the people of Vanua Levu during Cyclone Yasa
He says Bainimarama and Sayed-Khaiyum are not talking about Vanua Levu, how the rice mill had collapsed and the forest industry but the two are descending to the gutter level which they can't get out of.
Prasad further says that Bainimarama and Sayed-Khaiyum are going around the country threatening people by talking about murder and instability because they want to create fear in the minds of the people.
The NFP Leader also says that the People’s Alliance and NFP have plans to take the country forward and out of this disaster and ruin.
While responding to Sayed- Khaiyum's comments that the People’s Alliance and NFP will remove bus fare subsidies, free education and social welfare after coming into government, Prasad says they are not mad to do this but have plans to increase this assistance since the cost of living is getting high.
However, he says they can't say yet by how much.
