A Back to Ba carnival has been organised to raise money for the day to day operations of Ba vision eye clinic and to also enable them to pay pay off their contractor.
The Chairman of Organising Committee, Tulsi Ram says the clinic has been running with limited funds.
Ram says a lot of people have not visited Ba in the past few years due to the pandemic and this carnival will give them a reason to travel to the West.
He says apart from food stalls they will also have a flea market.
Ram says they may not have contestants in the carnival as they do not have major sponsors however people will be entertained every night.
He adds they want to go out in communities and provide free eye clinics to the people who cannot make it to the clinic.
Back to Ba carnival will take place from next Saturday at the Ba Town Council Market Grounds.
