The Fiji Baby Pearls got their campaign off to a winning start after defeating Trinidad & Tobago 53-40 in their opening match at the World Youth Netball Championship in Gibraltar.
It was an impressive performance from the U-21 side, who maintained composure and consistency throughout the match to claim their first victory of the tournament.
The Baby Pearls will now turn their focus to their next challenge, as they face Barbados at 3am tomorrow.
