Outgoing Fiji Airways men's 7s coach Gareth Baber will be providing support to the Fiji 7s team and Interim coach Saiasi Fuli as the team builds up to the Dubai 7s.
Baber's last day with the Fiji Rugby Union will be on the 30th of November 2021.
He is joining Edinburgh as the club’s new skills and assistant attack coach.
The Dubai 7s will be held behind closed doors on the 26th and 27th of November.
Fuli will prepare the Fiji 7s team for the Dubai 7s with the support of Jerry Tuwai.
Fuli will continue to be the Fijiana 7s coach as well.
He is committed to the Fijiana 7s program until the World Cup in South Africa next year.
The position of head coach of the Fiji men's 7s team was advertised over the weekend.
They are looking for someone with a minimum World Rugby-certified Level 3 Coaching Certification and 3 years of coaching experience at top-level competition and coaching at the international level.
The application period ends on 13th November 2021.
