Defending champion Ba has beaten Nadi 7-0 in their first match of the Vodafone Women’s IDC at the ANZ Stadium.
Ba led 4-0 at half-time.
National rep Cema Nasau scored a hat-trick for Ba while Louisa Simmons scored a brace and Koleta Likuculacula and Aliza Hussein got a goal each.
Meanwhile, the Rewa Women’s soccer team started their IDC campaign with a comfortable 4-0 win over Lomawai Kava Nadroga side at the ANZ Stadium.
Timaima Vuniyayawa scored twice while Lora Bukalidi and Ilisapeci Korosinu scored a goal each in the win.
National rugby and soccer rep Viniana Riwai scored a hat-trick for Suva as they beat Nasinu 6-1.
Torika Delai scored twice for Suva while Litia Bolaivanua scored one goal for Suva.
Suva led 2-1 at half time.
