Australian national and a specialist at the CWM Hospital,Andrew Robert Brewin, who has been charged for allegedly entering the compound of the Director of Nanuku Resort, Jeff Larsen and assaulting him, was granted bail by Magistrate Sufia Hamza this afternoon.
Brewin has been charged with criminal trespass and assault causing actual bodily harm.
It was revealed in court that Larsen suffered physical injuries after the assault.
The alleged incident occurred on the night of the 31st of last month.
Magistrate Hamza has issued a stop departure order and directed Brewin to surrender his passport to the court.
The matter has been adjourned to the 25th of this month and it will be called in the Navua Magistrates Court.
