The Australian High Commissioner to Fiji, John Feakes was bestowed the Honorary Officer of the Order of Fiji Medal at the State House by President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere.
This medal is given to those who have rendered distinguished service of a high degree to Fiji and humanity at large.
Katonivere says Feakes had outdone himself with his achievements since his tenure in 2017.
He further added that he would like to personally thank and acknowledge Feakes for his tenacity and perseverance that have contributed so much to Fiji and Australia's development and prosperity.
The Vuvale Partnership was signed between Fiji and Australia during Feakes tenure.
