The Australian Government is providing AUD$1.8 million to the Fijian Drua for the next 3 years through the PacificAus Sports.
While making the announcement, Australian Minister for International Development and Pacific Zed Seselja says their support of the Drua is a practical example of the Vuvale Partnership between the two countries.
Seselja says the Drua will bring something special to the Super Rugby.
He further says they are excited to see the Drua grow from strength to strength in the Super Rugby Pacific.
The Drua will begin their Super Rugby campaign against the Blues on February 19th.
