The Angiogram and Catheter lab has been installed at the CWM Hospital and the procedures have started from yesterday.
Permanent Secretary for Health, Doctor James Fong says cases will also be done today and tomorrow.
Doctor Fong says from next week, procedures will be conducted on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
He says they know that there will be many grateful patients who will get relief for the initiation of this service at CWM Hospital.
Doctor Fong says the Ministry of Health is truly grateful to cardiologist, Doctor Vijay Kapadia, engineer Peter Koerns and his installation team and the Rotary Club of Suva led by Rajesh Patel.
The angiogram and cath lab was arranged by Doctor Vijay Kapadia from Australia.
