The woman alleged to have caused the death of her husband in Kavuli, Tavua, yesterday morning is now in police custody.
Police say the woman was arrested with the help of members of the public and is currently being questioned at the Tavua Police Station.
It is alleged that she fled the scene after seriously injuring her husband, which resulted in his death.
The matter was reported to police by the victim’s father, who found him lying motionless with visible injuries.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
