Italy’s fullback Tommasso Allan made a huge statement this morning as he kicked his side to a 22-15 win over Wales in round 2 of the Six Nations competition in Rome this morning.

Allan was 100 percent accurate this morning and had his kicking boots on as he converted 5 penalty kicks at goal and a conversion to help them secure the victory.

Winger Ange Capuozzo contributed to the 22 points with a try in the 19th minute, but Allan was the toast of the home side.

Italy held a comfortable 16-3 at the break but Wales came back stronger with an unconverted try to substitute backrower Aaron Wainwright in the 50th minute to reduce the gap to 8 points.

Capuozzo added another two penalty kicks to extend their lead before Wales was awarded a penalty try at the death but it was not enough to get them an away win.

Meanwhile, England edged France 26-25 in a tightly contested match this morning.
