All Rewa Football Association players and staff have been asked to go into strict isolation after a 53-year-old woman of Nadi tested positive for COVID-19 in Nadi.

Rewa travelled to Lautoka yesterday for their Digicel Premier League match against Ba.

The Ministry of Health since has announced a lockdown of the Greater Nadi and Lautoka Area.

Rewa Football Association says family members of the players and officials who have come in contact with them since last night have also been requested to self isolate.

They say the team management is in contact with Ministry of Health officials on precautionary steps and the possibility of getting COVID-19 tests for all players and officials done.

The Association is also requesting fans who travelled to Lautoka for the game against Ba to self-isolate.
