Fiji National University Vice Chancellor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba has confirmed that all FNU campuses across Fiji will be closed today given the recent announcements by the Ministry of Education regarding the current adverse weather conditions.
The Vice Chancellor says all staff are required to work from home and liaise with their supervisors.
She is also reminding all students and staff to take precautionary measures and adhere to all weather advisories issued by the Fiji Meteorological Services Office and the National Disaster Management Office.
Baba says those living in low-lying and flood-prone areas are advised to evacuate during daylight if required and know their evacuation centres, emergency contacts and disaster preparedness plans.
