The All Blacks are officially the Tri-Nations champions.

This is after the Wallabies and Argentina game ended in a 16-all draw in the final Tri-Nations match last night.

To finish higher than the All Blacks, the Pumas needed to win by at least 93 points and the Wallabies needed to win by at least 101 points.

Australia and Argentina’s 16 all draw was secured after fullback Reece Hodge missed a long-range last-minute penalty goal attempt for the second time in two weeks.

Argentina came into the match as underdogs after being beaten 38-0 by the All Blacks and then having inspirational skipper Pablo Matera and two teammates stood down for disciplinary reasons.

Wallabies captain Michael Hooper and lock Lukhan Salakaia-Loto were shown yellow cards for dangerous tackles.
