Voters queuing up to vote this morning

Jotame Raisele is happy to have cast his vote at Suva Grammar School polling venue this morning and has encouraged registered voters to come out in numbers and cast their votes because it is important for our future generation.

The 85-year-old from Nasese says he was looking forward to cast his vote this morning and woke up at 4am to have his breakfast and made his way to Suva Grammar School at 6am.

He is the first registered voter to cast his vote at Grammar.

All polling venues are officially open and will close at 6pm today.

Anyone who arrives at the polling station after 6pm will not be allowed to vote.

Saneem says for those who want to know about the free public transportation, SMS their Voter Card number to 1500, and it will message them back with their Polling Venue details, as well as the details of the person who is organizing free public transport in their area.
