8-year-old Scott Kaungia from the Solomon Islands has received a new lease of life after getting a successful surgery at the Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Heart Hospital.
His grandmother Sarah Buka says they have been waiting for this moment for 7 years.
Buka says they faced many challenges during the 7 years of waiting and last month they got the good news that the heart operation is being done for free in Fiji.
She is thankful to the Sai Sanjeevani Children's Heart Hospital for their effort to save lives and she is looking forward to returning home with her grandson.
