79 families still at evacuation centres in the west

79 families still at evacuation centres in the west

Seventy-nine families and 345 people are taking shelter at eight evacuation centres that are open in the Western Division.

The National Disaster Risk Management Office say a total of 180 people are taking shelter at Andrews Primary School in Nadi, 35 people are in Saioni Church, and 14 people are at the Korovuto College in Nadi.

69 people are at the Nadele Community Hall in Nadroga, while 22 are at the Nasolo Community Hall in Ba.

According to the National Disaster Risk Management Office, seven people are at the VOU Dance Group Office, and nine evacuees are at the Lovu Sangam in Lautoka.

They say they will continue to facilitate requests to assist them in their response actions.
