7 people who suffered serious injuries in the horrific accident along Queens Highway near Vunisalato Settlement in Naboro yesterday are still admitted at the CWM Hospital.
A 23-year-old man and an 8-year-old boy passed away in the accident.
Police say the 8-year-old boy was travelling with his parents in a small truck while the 23-year-old man was a passenger in the vehicle that allegedly caused the accident.
They say the alleged suspect who is a 24-year old man from Navo, Nadi was speeding when he lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer onto the opposite lane resulting in the head on collision.
