A 63-year-old woman has died while the second victim is still admitted in hospital from the unfortunate accident in Suva yesterday.
Police say the two women were rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital where the 63-year-old woman was unfortunately pronounced dead on arrival.
They say the victim was passing by Nina Street when a 28-year-old man reversed his vehicle and bumped the two women.
The second victim sustained serious injuries and is still admitted at the CWM hospital.
Police say the suspect is in their custody as investigations continue.
