6 juveniles arrested for playing soccer in Tacirua while 2 girls caught at Nabua short cut

8 juveniles in the Southern Division have been arrested for breaching the curfew and COVID-19 restrictions in the last 24 hours.

Police Commissioner Sitiveni Qiliho says 6 juveniles were playing soccer at the Niubalavu Road roundabout in Tacirua while 2 girls under the age of 17 were found last night at the Nabua Muslim League shortcut.

There were a total of 20 arrests.

The Southern Division recorded 14 arrests, the Eastern Division recorded 5 reports of failure to comply with orders while the Western Division recorded 1 case.
