Police are once again reiterating the importance of proper supervision and that children should never be left in the care of other children after a 5-year-old child is alleged to have drowned, while swimming in a pool at a Nadi hotel yesterday.
Police say the victim was swimming with his cousins when the incident occurred.
Investigations continue.
Police also say the drowning death toll currently stands at 7 compared to 2 for the same period last year.
