4,630 people are currently taking shelter in 162 evacuation centres around the country.
The National Disaster Management Office says 115 evacuation centres are open in the Western Division, 42 in the Central Division while 5 are in the Northern Division.
They say the lone evacuation centre in the Eastern Division has closed and all evacuees have returned home.
