Police are concerned that people are still not following COVID safe guidelines after another 414 public health infringement notices were issued for failure to wear a mask in a public place.
A total of 479 public health infringement notices were issued between the 25th to the 31st of October.
Police say 41 people were booked for failing to wear a mask in a public service vehicle, 21 were issued for breach of curfew while 1 PSV driver was booked for failing to comply with the 80% passenger capacity.
Police also issued notices to two employees of a shop who failed to comply with orders in relation to the wearing of a mask inside their premises. 414 people fined for not wearing a mask in public from 25th to 31st Oct
